B.S. Architectural Engineering student at MSOE with team-based learning in hands-on labs and Revit project experiences. Involvement as Structural Intern at CORE 4 Engineering, graduated Carter Scholar, and Office Assistant for EECS Department. Working 30 hrs/wk with full academic schedule with additional 4+ hrs/wk of extracurricular involvement. Experience as a machine operator and have developed customer service and sales skills through summer jobs with additional skills in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu. Art has been something that I have always held in high regard and when presented with an Architectural Art class as an elective, I fell in love with the building styles and thoughts behind designing a structure for a client. Originally planning on an Architect major, I came to the conclusion that I liked math too much to just focus all my attention in design and looked to engineering. After quick research of the difference between Civil and AE, however, the decision was clear to me.I’ve had experience working on teams to reproduce a Revit model of our MSOE Library based on original construction drawings in addition to the design and pitch construction plan for new two-story, 22,500 sq. ft. Microbrewery that complies with IBC, ADA qualifications, and looks aesthetically appealing to potential buyer. I have additional skill in Revit 2022/2023, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.For me, MSOE was the clear choice with small class sizes, major incorporation in Freshman year, and the quality education. Through MSOE, I was able to participate in their Carter Academy program and build connection with my peers before school even started. This past fall, I was able to found and be the Vice President for a Crochet & Knitting club to help facilitate community, education, and some fun!
