Izak is a subsea and pipelines facilities engineer with 20+ years experience working on green field and brownfield project in the Middle East, South East Asia and Australia. Izak has experience in various facets of offshore oil & gas projects. His main area of expertise is in the design, installation and pre-commissioning of submarine pipeline systems. He also has experience in project procurement, logistics and onshore fabrication activities.Izak started his career in 2004 working for a EPCI contractor in Dubai and moved to Australia at the end of 2006 to join Wood (then JP Kenny). During his time at Wood Izak has been involved in multiple projects either as part of the Wood engineering team or as part of the Owner’s team (on secondment from Wood). Izak is a highly motivated individual, which take pride in delivering projects to high quality, on time, on budget, safely. Izak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa and a MBA from the University of Western Australia.
