The Youth Sounding Board serves as a structured platform fostering dialogue, idea exchange, and knowledge sharing among Mozambican youth and their counterparts from European Union member countries. Facilitated by the European Union, this initiative underscores ongoing engagement with youth.Key topics discussed within the Youth Sounding Board and the European Union encompass Entrepreneurship, Education, Digitization, Sustainable Growth, Climate Change, among others. Additionally, YSB members benefit from personal growth and developmental opportunities as young individuals.In Mozambique, the project is jointly implemented by Plan International and CDD (Center for Democracy and Human rights).

As the Local Chapter President, I serve as the CEO, leading the strategic direction of the local committee. The key responsibilities include developing and leading the Local Committee,representing the organization at local, national, and international levels, and managing theExecutive Board team. This involves ensuring the effective implementation of strategies alignedwith organizational objectives to maintain internal, external, and legal compliance.Key Achievements:- Significant growth in the organization's external positioning.- Increased the number of strategic partnerships.- Consolidated and enhanced member development processes.- Expanded the membership base.- Substantially improved the local impact of activities and projects.

As part of the project's department, I was allowed to spearhead the creation of local projects and initiatives tailored to our community's needs and aspirations.

I interned with the USAID KIZAZI HODARI NORTHEASTERN ZONE project, administered by Action for Community Care. The project is dedicated to child-centered and family-focused initiatives, employing the National Integrated Case Management System (NICMS) to provide tailored and age-appropriate case management services to households. Our efforts contribute to achieving the 95-95-95% UNAIDS goals by offering comprehensive services to Orphans and Vulnerable Children (OVC) in high HIV burden communities, with a primary focus on enhancing the health, well-being, and protection of OVC and youth aged 0-17 years.During my internship in the Monitoring and Evaluation domain, I was involved in various activities including:- Conducting Data Collection and Analysis- Gathering baseline information- Ensuring Quality Assurance and Improvement- Participating in field monitoring visits to ensure the clarity of implementation components- Organizing monthly report meetings across different wards in Dodoma Council, including Madukani and Nghongh'onha- Developing labels and ward packaging summaries to streamline beneficiary file identification- Engaging in Reporting and Documentation tasks.
