At Unger's Shoe Store I was an intern. I helped customers select the right shoes for what they wanted to do, like hiking or work boots. I also helped customers with more difficult problems like what type of supportive insert might work best for them based on types of problems they were having. While at Unger's, my boss received many comments on how helpful I was to them. I also, helped unload trucks of shipments and learned how to effectively go through a packing slip. This job helped prepare me for others by giving me public speaking skills and it helped me learn the importance of customer satisfaction. I also helped with the social media advertising on the Facebook and Instagram accounts they had. This included helping the person in charge of this come up with posts and deciding what pictures to use for the posts.
