As a podiatrist who has worked in the tertiary setting for over 6 years, I have professional experience in the management of high-risk podiatric complications, as well as in clinical education and research. I have also recently completed a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, with a concentration in Social and Behavioral Sciences, and a Certificate in Community-based Public Health. My interests are in the social and behavioral aspects of chronic disease, and the development of community interventions in advancing population health outcomes. Currently, I am with the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), where I am working on programs and strategies to build the capability of healthcare professionals and partners in various community mental health programs. Outside of work, I love engaging with the community and having conversations with people from all walks of life, and am currently involved in youth mentoring, grassroots initiatives, and community health outreach projects.
