She has received training at a university psychology centre, government hospital, community mental health facility, and a private centre that focuses on trauma-informed community mental health services. These experiences have allowed her to work with a wide range of clients, including students, the general public, individuals with severe mental illness, and marginalised populations.Izzat is experienced in working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, trauma, and those seeking stress management and communication skills. Additionally, she has conducted assessments and provided psychological interventions for neurodiverse populations, which has been a valuable and meaningful experience in her practice. Collaboratively working with organisations such as Thrive Well, WAO and Buku Jalanan Chow Kit has given Izzat meaningful insight into addressing the unique needs of marginalised communities.Izzat believes in the importance of a two-way therapeutic process, valuing feedback from her clients to ensure the effectiveness of the interventions provided.
