About Izzy C
Hey there, I'm Izzie! I graduated from UC Berkeley with a double major in Computer Science and Cognitive Science, a minor in Data Science, and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. In college, I learned how to build products from start to finish and picked up a variety of technical skills: e.g. designing UI/UX prototypes and building full-stack apps (HTML, React, Swift).I took my first data science course by chance and completely fell in love with the craft. Now I work with ML & NLP as a full-time data scientist at Microsoft on the Bing metrics team. My team is largely responsible for the massive gains in search relevance using GPT models. We design metrics to measure the quality of the largest search engines in the world.I'm obsessed with learning as much as I can and connecting with the communities around me.
