Isabelle “Izzy” Conklin was born for filmmaking after her parents named her after a character from a movie. In her years of being in the B.F.A. Film and Television undergraduate program at Montclair State University, she has assistant directed many projects, including a finalist for 2024 Coca Cola Refreshing Films. Izzy has co-senior produced many award-winning news specials like FOCUS: Democracy: Our Election and FOCUS: Food. She also produced an award-winning package on Homelessness in Phoenix for the on the road news special Arizona Stories: Border, Water and Politics. Currently, she is the Director of Content Programming at HawkPLUS, which is Montclair State University’s streaming service and the very first collegiate streaming service. At HawkPLUS, she also produces and hosts a series that showcases student films.
