Since completing my bachelor's degree in 2023, I have held numerous part-time jobs in pursuit of a meaningful career in sustainability, research and writing, and/or non-profit work. My undergraduate major was in environmental analysis: an interdisciplinary field of study geared toward generating a relevant and comprehensive understanding of environmental studies not limited to scientific exploration. The interdisciplinary and expansive nature of my undergraduate studies has led to my interest in a variety of potential career paths and thus taking positions in several different fields over the last year and a half. Through these, I have gained and refined many transferable skills, including writing, editing, research, communication, analysis, and strategic problem-solving. I hope to use the skills I have acquired in these fields by working for a mission-driven initiative. I have displayed my intellectual capabilities in my work as a strategic research consultant, where I helped research, create, copyedit, and publish a manuscript of interviews with notable civil rights leaders. In my position as a freelance ESG manager, I have honed my skills in data analysis and proactive sustainability approaches. Further, I coordinated a concerted team effort among members of the company to monitor, report, and effectively communicate its environmental, social, and governance practices to customers and investors.
