Responding to a gap in the market of student-offered and student-focused extra-curricular activities, I Founded and Chaired the Bath Uni Yoga Society (BUYS) from my First to Final years at the University of Bath.

- The creation process included pitching the idea of, and prospective operational plan for, the formation of the society in front of 300 democratically elected student peers of the Student's Union; by successfully winning this pitch, I beat at least 5 other potential societies for the position, thus demonstrating the need for the student group, and my persuasive presenting skills.
- Membership for Bath Uni Yoga Society remains one of the university's fastest ever, and the society continues to be extremely popular 2 years after my graduation from University of Bath, and 4 years after being founded.
- Winner of democratically chosen 'Best Recreational Society of the Year Award' 2015 -2016
- The role required high levels of preparation and organisation, as well as passion and drive in running the society (fantastically aided by a four person committee) alongside my degree
- As a committee, we organised at least six weekly sessions, managed the society’s £18000 income and coordinated with external teachers, the Student’s Union and student body to ensure long term attendance and interest
- Extensive use of marketing on social media was essential in highlighting the society’s core messages of inclusiveness and enjoyment for all

- Investigation of potential cost-saving mechanisms through applications of P&L (Profit and Loss) quantification, as well as standard application of P&L for account management
