In this role I was responsible for sourcing great candidates, interviewing them, arranging further interviews with other internal hiring managers and selling successful candidates on the company and role. The role also involves a lot of interpersonal skills, both with maintaining internal relationships and developing new ones with candidates to bring them into the business.

Demonstrated a high level of dedication, perseverance and customer service whilst working as a groom at Ham Polo Club. The job requires great time management skills as well as the ability to work quickly under pressure. The role also requires a lot of social and interpersonal skills to work closely with and for others over long hours, which was something I maintained well.

During my final year of university I worked on The You Effect, a free online course created to help young women overcome obstacles in their lives, feel better and get further. In this role I have been focusing on social media management, content creation, Influencer marketing and increasing overall engagement. Since working on this project, following and engagement have significantly increased and we have been able to reach more people and spread a positive message. I have been utilising new social media tools and apps such as Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, PremierePro, Procreate, Planoly and Followers to monitor and analyse progress and helped build a strategy with the team which has so far been effective and very encouraging. Whilst working on this project I saw the account following increase 11x and significant increases in meaningful engagement with followers.

In this role I made both a website and YouTube channel for the club which we didn’t have before and was much needed to promote the club and its events as well as explain how it runs. I also created content for the clubs Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube. Our online presence has recently been limited so I have been enjoying using the skills I have learnt through both my degree and other work experience to build broader awareness of the club. In the role I also always went above and beyond what my role required in terms of the running of the club as a whole. As Club President, I led the running of a 200-person university sports club and society which includes overseeing everything from weekly training and socials, to organising tournaments with other clubs, international trips and competitions, managing and delegating to my executive committee, and running a 400- person ball and ball committee which last year had a revenue of over £30,000. Due to the extent and variety of the club’s operations, the role requires strong organisational and interpersonal skills to keep training, events and the committee running, as well as create a fun and welcoming atmosphere and reach our aim of increasing accessibility for students.

I did a summer internship in the Marketing department of CryptoNumerics. Whilst in the position I worked on expanding the companies social media accounts and posting frequently as well as undertaking competitor market research and keeping up with current and relevant news. I used a variety of online marketing tools to help me in the job such as Hubspot and Buzzsumo to monitor progress and help with research. The job allowed me great insight into working directly for a real company and seeing the results which was an amazing learning experience.
