Interviewed key researchers in the BRW project to inform communication and policy materials as well as to document exciting findings, opportunities to scale prescribed burning research, and topics in need of future research. Developed and disseminated two policy briefs to advocate for increased funding to support prescribed burns and interdisciplinary research projects on prescribed burns in the coastal foothills of California. Developed article content about the benefits of prescribed burns and the success of the BRW’s interdisciplinary project, especially in building resilient community relationships in the face of wildfires. Created a library of information for future communications and policy materials that will support the BRW project for years to come when communicating with the project funder (The Moore Foundation), future funders, media outlets, and policymakers.

Conducting a research brief on the cycle of California wildfire mitigation, response, and relief efforts, including recommendations on how to better protect and/or restore our environment, ecosystems, or natural resources in Santa Barbara County and Ventura County.Writing policy briefs about climate adaptation and industrial decarbonization research findings for policymakers and journalists

Facilitate, document, and provide administrative support to collaborative groups in water resource management, wildlife management, fire, and forestry, such as the Carson Partnership for Horse Management, Eagle River Community Water Plan, West Plum Creek Stream Management Plan, Colorado Fire Commission, and the Upper South Platte Partnership. Additionally, I have facilitated and provided administrative support to community-based work such as the Foothills Animal Shelter strategic plan, the YMCA of Northern Colorado strategic plan, Boulder Community Health Community Health Needs Assessment feedback sessions, and a Marshall Fire Home Rebuild discussion.

At Sunrun, I managed 60+ projects at a time by supporting homeowners with applications to homeowners' associations. Often, this required letter writing and math to convey that a homeowner was able to install solar on their roof by law.

Project Drawdown is a list of the most effective environmental solutions we can implement as a global community to reduce our environmental footprint and reverse it. Through this role, I work to adapt the solution explanations to a 5th-grade reading level to provide climate literacy curriculum materials for educators and the CLEAN Network working with Inside the Greenhouse.

Worked on a very large grant throughout the summer, auction fundraising, and editing of the Solar Today magazine.

Tutored student-athletes in a variety of subjects including Environmental Studies, Atmospheric Science, Environmental Design Theory, American Indian Religious Traditions, and various writing courses. Worked to determine the best learning style for each student.
