I worked as part of a team to market accommodation to new students and assisted with in-residence communication. I produced engaging marketing materials and campaigns (both in print and moving image) and written communications for applicants and current students. I assisted with University events such as University Open Days and Visit Days and organised and helped with Photography and Virtual Tour shoots and the recording and producing of podcasts. I liaised with relevant members of staff and departments from both UPP and the University of Reading to ensure all communication was accurate and engaging for students.

Working as a Nursery Assistant I worked as part of a team to look after young children. I helped the children with daily activities when needed and also played a role in developing the children’s communication, listening and social skills through active play, encouraging sharing and social inclusion. In Summer 2018, I completed a four-week placement for my university degree. I worked for CLOUT, previously known as Born Music, an online music website that markets and promotes new music from up-and-coming artists. My role as a Content and Marketing Intern involved written content, including daily track reviews, previews and music events using the platform WordPress, which improved my writing and communication skills. I was in charge of social media content on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. I was in communication with artists and their PR companies, which taught me organisational and time management skills. I also attended the music festival Bestival in Dorset, where I represented CLOUT's team, promoting relevant artists that reflected the company's persona. I interviewed an up-and-coming artist where journalist skills were developed and learnt throughout the process.
