Design/scale/tune/optimize Apache Cassandra cluster architecture for the Enterprise production system.• Implement backup and recovery solution for production system and ensure high availability.• Expertise on NoSQL database Cassandra (Datastax certified Cassandra administrator) and MongoDB.• Performing NoSQL(Cassandra/MongoDB) Database design, scaling, capacity planning and implementation activities, such as installing and configuring software, and performing upgrades.• Developing prototype, POCs and installation process on trending data integration technologies such as Talend - Cassandra data integration, Apache Spark - Apache Casandra integration and data transformation using RDDs.• Developing the data integration solutions designed jointly with the application architects.• Reconciling multiple logical source models into a single, logically consistent model.• Coordinate data integration and enterprise information management efforts and participate in, analytics / business intelligence (BI) efforts.• Ensure data management solutions follow data integration best practices to meet data delivery,data quality and SLAs• Assist the DevOps and Data Admin team with operational support, including:• Ensure high availability, backup and recovery of production data solutions.• Performing maintenance to minimize disruptions to users, backing up the database• Tuning the database to optimize performance as workloads change, including tasks such as database optimization and performance tuning.• Troubleshooting the database, resolving errors where necessary• Performing database administration tasks to meet requirements for volume and performance.• Knowledge in modern data storage techniques both in the cloud (AWS S3) and on premise (RAID systems, NFS).• Working knowledge of Python and unix shell scripting language.• Experience using version control tools like git and SVN.
