I love books, stories and people. I grew up in this industry and have helped to leverage the stories written by Debbie Macomber to become an industry. While Debbie is the heart of the company, the strategy and direction of taking a name and creating a brand has been my focus for the last dozen years. I love my job, and I love the people I interact with in this industry, whether publishers, partners, authors or readers. At the heart of every company is the desire to be a storyteller. Imagine a storyteller becoming a company! I also enjoy serving on several boards, whose missions align with my passions and purpose. They have helped to shape and develop me as a leader and strategic thinker. While I may organically see things in big picture, my board experience has taught me about the importance and practice of culture, governance and sustainability. My faith plays a central role in my purpose, giving me focus and intention to what I do. My greatest asset are the relationships around me, the partner beside me and the friends who support me. I am best in the company of others, thinking through long term goals and planning for future dreams, visions and realities. I love working with scrappy startups, those who know their big dreams will only be accomplished with a mix of faith and faithfulness. I look forward to connecting.
