From September 2022I have transferred to the Stroger Families Team within social care sector of Nottinghamshire County Council. This is to provide intensive support for families in crisis, and reduce the risk of children going into the care system. Empowering families to work together to find positive solutions to their specific issues. December 2021As a Parent and Family worker, Im responsible for carrying out parenting assessments, delivering structured parent, family interventions to children, young people and families. This may be either in a group or individual basis.

*Providing planned short breaks is a break from the routine of caring. *Sessions planned in advance and is not the result of an emergency or crisis for children and young people who have a statement with special educational needs and disabilities.*My role is to empower the children and young people to achieve their full potential through fun activities of their choice.

To provide support to school children and their families to achieve.

To support people detained under the mental health act in knowing their rights, Mental Health Review Tribunals, CPA meetings and in MDT meetings.

• Supported children/young people into the NNIDAS Refuge, then support the transition into the local community statutory/ voluntary services. • Provided a 'Healthy Relationship' programme to individuals, groups of children/ young people and schools. • I was commissioned to Tier Two CAMHS as a Domestic Violence Support Worker. • Provided On Call support to families fleeing domestic violence. • Facilitated Strengthening Families programme to families.

*My role was to provide a service to local schools aimed to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, and pain, and increasing peace, perception, self-concept, and well-being. *To provide a safe environment for young people to be able to discuss their conflict with their perpetrator to reduce bullying. *Providing a safe structured zone for any other conflicts between two parties. *To allow the individuals confidents to build that they can move on from their victim status.

• Teaching Assistant for the Nottinghamshire Learning Centre, working with teenage girls, from 26weeks of pregnancy. • Alongside their education, providing opportunity for the young people to meet and talk to Statutory/Voluntary organisations. • Provided PEEP family learning programme to the girls• Provided 121 educational support to children and young people who were excluded from mainstream school.

• My role was to provide Positive Play Projects- the aims to empower, provide relevant training /guidance and understanding of positive paly needs to carers to empower them to run play sessions for children and young people, aged from 4-14 yrs.• Lead Play Worker managing the Play Team.• Provide Play opportunities within the West Mansfield area- Bullfarm, Pleasley and Ladybrook.• Worked closely with Speech and Language Therapist to provide Hanen programme and Narrative and listening sessions within Nursery schools. • Supported the Family Support Workers with the YAPP (Young & Proud Parents) supportive and inclusive group for young people aged 14yrs-21yrs. I supported young parents to successfully gain OCN. • Assisted in the setting up of a Polish group for polish families. Offering polish families the ability to receive vital care, both pre/post-natal. • Providing a school/ Outreach Community Group project devised with Primary Care Trust- Nutrition Team. We delivered nutritional advice centred on the National Food Standards to local schools.
