As a Noncommissioned Officer of the Mississippi Army National Guard, I am a leader of a fire team and have executed various missions with my skill set. Besides having knowledge of Infantry skills and tasks as well as leadership skills, I have performed a variety of security operations ranging from Executive Security to Flightline Security as a part of the Global War on Terror and Operation Inherent Resolve (2018-2019). I have also led a section of soldiers as a part of the Mississippi COVID Taskforce (2020-2021), where I worked alongside the Mississippi Emergency Management Agency, the Mississippi Department of Health, and the Mississippi Department of Public Safety.

As a Patrolman in the Waynesboro Police Department, I work with the public to protect the citizens of Waynesboro and enforce the laws of the state of Mississippi. I am trained in de-escalation techniques, less than lethal and lethal weapons, defensive driving, hand-to-hand fighting, how to read and apply the law, and report writing. These skills were added to my skill set from the military.

As a Corrections Officer with MDOC-SMCI, I supervised inmates and acted as tower officer, yard officer, and infirmary officer. Among my duties were conducting prisoner counts, writing reports, and enforcing discipline and regulations in the prison. I was trained in hand-to-hand combat techniques, firearms, report writing, and a variety of security skills which mixed well with my military background.

As a Security Consultant, licensed in Mississippi, I worked to aid customers in understanding and using security systems. I taught them the best placement and use of such systems. As a member of the sales team, I used my people and public speaking skills to increase sales and developed within customers a sense of safety.
