J.C. grew up on the plains of Western Kansas. After receiving her degree in Accounting, J.C. headed west for work and adventure, spending many years in California and Washington. J.C. worked primarily in corporate roles that enabled her to hone her accounting and writing skills. J.C. has been an enthusiastic reader since childhood and has pursued her passion of writing for over twenty years. Currently, J.C. lives in her home state of Kansas with her fabulous husband and adorable shih tzu. When J.C.’s not writing, she loves to cook, read, and spend time outside. J.C. and her husband Lyle love to explore the U.S. and spend most of their vacations hiking in our National Parks. J.C. sets her novels in Southern California, a place she loves, and where she spent her early working years and experienced the thrill of working on a television pilot. The Reinvention of Janey is J.C.’s second novel. A Hollywood Classic, J.C.’s debut novel, was released in August 2016.
