I like to make things easier.I'm a problem-solving Architect from Small-Town Southern Illinois, raised with an ethic of hard work, self-reliance, and sustainability. Having been the first in my family to earn an advanced degree, I value continuous learning and growth. A specialist in tackling complex issues, I've become an expert in multiple architectural tools like ACAD and Revit. I played a key role in developing a unified master Revit model, and became the office-level expert, a go-to resource for resolving architectural model issues.My deep understanding of accessibility stems from a thorough and analytical reading of codes. I not only taught architects but also civil engineers and MEP teams, focusing on the aspects most relevant to each group.The majority of my career has been focused on renovating existing buildings, additions, and historic renovations, with very few greenfield projects. I've led small projects and coordinated with teams of engineers while also becoming proficient in codes and Building Enclosure Commissioning.Finally, my work on a unified system for coordinating and streamlining office standard “General Notes” and Front-End Documentation across all disciplines is something I'm particularly proud of. The goal was to avoid unnecessary repetition and create a more efficient and reliable system.I look forward to bringing these skills and experiences to future projects and roles, further enhancing my capabilities and making an impact.
