I was in charge of overseeing all aspects of the charity's operations, services, and installations. This included managing two main projects specifically designed for individuals aged 55 and above, which had a membership of over 150 people, as well as a Youth Service with approximately 50 members. My responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks, including but not limited to:• Managing and supervising a team of staff members, including caretakers, two project coordinators, and temporary activity leaders.• Handling the budget for services and activities, as well as accounting for expenses and producing reports for grant providers.• Designing promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and other marketing materials for the charity's centre. Additionally, I was responsible for managing social media platforms and updating the website content.• Ensuring that the projects were effectively advertised within the borough and establishing connections and partnerships with other organisations, universities, local businesses, and associations.• Developing and implementing a volunteer program, which involved managing volunteer opportunities, conducting recruitment and interviews, and providing ongoing support and training for volunteers.• Collaborating closely with the CEO to identify resource needs, explore new funding opportunities, promote projects within the community, and implement new policies.• Redesigning and implementing changes in the services to better meet the needs of the local community, and additionally, identifying areas for improvement in the services.
