In charge for Cisco's Connected Urban Development incubation and engineering programs at global level, within the Internet Business Solutions Group at Cisco. CUD was the joint program launched between Cisco and the Clinton Global Initiative aimed at developing innovative, broadband based solutions for CO2 emissions reductionDrove and co-authored pioneering hardware and software-based innovations such as Urban EcoMap, Smart Buses, Personal Travel Assistant, Smart Buildings, Connected Vehicles, Smart Energy, and other smart transportation solutions. Drove research through to prototype and pilots across member cities such as San Francisco, Amsterdam, Seoul, and so forth. Partnered with leading public/private institutions: NASA, MIT, Univ of Toronto, Philips, GE, CH2MHILL, etc. Led the software design, development cycles, and overall execution across the technical engineering and development teams.
