Sales Account Manager for Health and Performance at Technogym. Background in Sports Therapy and Sports Medicine. My current position is Sales Account Manager for the North of England in the Health and Performance sector at Technogym. I have previously held positions as a Commercial Manager at Direct Healthcare Group, Sports Therapist at Wharfedale RUFC, assistant Strength & Conditioning coach at Cheshire Phoenix Basketball Club, Sports Therapist at Team GB Maxibasketball and Manchester Giants Basketball Club, and Basketball Coach at Cardinal Newman College.I performed four main roles alongside my undergraduate and postgraduate studies, including UCLan Basketball club chairperson, PASS (Peer Assisted Study Sessions) Leader, Course Representative, and Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre Sports Assistant. I also played basketball with Preston Pride and UCLan 1sts (captain). For these roles I received an ILM Project Development Award as well as a Community Hero's Volunteering award.I have placement experience with GB U20's Men's Basketball team, St Helens RLFC, Wigan Warriors RLFC, Lancashire county football, Chorley ladies’ football, Preston Pride basketball, and events such as the Avenham 5k and Manchester half marathon. During the three years of my undergraduate degree I totalled over five hundred hours of placement experience with these various clubs and events.I also completed an Undergraduate Research Internship as a research assistant with UCLan and British Blind Sport on a project entitled: Mapping Sport and Physical Activity Provisions for People with Visual Impairment throughout the UK. I also completed my VTCT Level 4 Massage Qualification during my undergraduate degree.
