Duties & responsibilities include:• Management responsibilities and leadership of the technologist team (10 members of staff)• Generating optimised treatment plans using 3DCRT, IMRT (step & shoot) and VMAT techniques for all treatment sites using Philips Pinnacle3• Leading the planning and development of Breast Radiotherapy treatment sites• Leading the planning and development of Lung Radiotherapy treatment sites• Lead SABR technologist – to investigate and plan for its introduction• Scripting within Philips Pinnacle3 to improve efficiency and consistency across the service• Management and maintenance of developed scripted solution for palliative dose calculations, and breast radiotherapy plans, within Pinnacle3• Lead MOSAIQ software technologist – including optimising workflow using IQ scripts, updating QCL tasks, document types, locations, and filtering methods to improve workflow and remove potential for work being missed • Anatomy delineation/contouring with CT images (± fused MR/PET images) using ProSoma, Mirada, Pinnacle3 including target volumes (for Prostate work)• Approval-by-protocol of relevant treatment plans (Prostate and Breast currently) • CT-MR, CT-CT and CT-PET fusion using ProSoma and/or Mirada • Management and maintenance of local ‘eChecks' Excel program, to provide set checks and consistency for all planners and checkers• Management and maintenance of all protocolised dose constraints• Independent dosimetric verification calculations using RadCalc • Performing patient specific verification measurements on the Linear Accelerators using both the Delta4 and Octavius phantoms
