Jonathan Ivey is a PhD Student at The Johns Hopkins University. Colleagues describe him as "Simply put, Jonathan is a quick and eager learner who gets things done. During his 2022 summer internship, Jonathan worked on a project for our Finance team. Right away he dove into the problem, wasn't shy about set up crosstrainings with analysts to learn from their domain expertise, and wasn't afraid to ask questions to make sure he had a foundational understanding of the the problem and the process. The analyses he performed were thorough and models were well-tested. Aside from the speed at which he became comfortable with concepts, equally impressive was his ability and comfort when communicating with our business stakeholders who are less technical (all with a consistent smile). While unfortunately time didn't allow for him to implement his solution himself, we've been able to take his work as-is and prep for productionalization. I'd welcome Jonathan back in a heartbeat, I highly recommend him, and I am looking forward to seeing what his future holds."
