- Provides planning support to the J3, US Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), and the Inter-agency Partnership Program (IAPP) Division to ensure communications, operations, and planning are coordinated and supported according to the geographic combatant commands’ theater special operations commands (TSOC), and USSOCOM priorities (CT and CWMD) within the Inter-agency, and other National Capitol Region based partners. - Serves as focal point for time sensitive communications and planning efforts, ensuring theater specific plans and initiatives are synchronized within USSOCOM, and other Inter-agency organizations efforts, plans, and objectives.- Analyzes plans to identify potential resourcing and capability shortfalls to provide recommended solutions to mitigate resourcing issues.- Represents division chief at inter-agency working groups and conferences to keep leadership informed of working level actions that have implications on future operations and policy.

- Strategic planner with the Army National Military Cemeteries, interpreting U.S Code, Government Accountability Office reports, Department of Defense Instructions relating to cemetery policies, and DoD and Army IG findings to develop and write plans and policy associated with cemetery management operations. - Improved the executive level planning and continuous improvement of cemetery operations at ANC, through planning and directing the staff in rewriting the strategic plan, which incorporated facilitating strategic reviews for the Executive Director and Superintendent at ANC. This project resulted in a rigorous staff analysis which led to consolidation of objectives, and improved tasks and metrics the directors use to measure their progress and gauge efficiency of their processes.- Program manager for inter agency training initiative resulting in increased knowledge management for all Army, Air Force, OSD, National Cemetery Administration, and American Battle Monuments Commission personnel responsible for cemetery operations.

- Strategic planner and advisor to the Director of Business Operations, developed strategy and policy, and reviewed projects and staff actions for compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations, suspense timeliness and effective use of resources. Developed and delivered detailed analysis and internal briefings at the executive level on a regular basis.- Developed, directed and coordinated Annex D to the 2012 Army Campaign Plan (ACP) to operationalize campaign objectives to enable meaningful progress measurement through the Strategic Management System, which served as a template for the objective leads to follow. - Led team to develop Campaign Objective 9 - Sustain and Enhance Business Operations for the 2014 Army Campaign Plan, this established measurable performance goals and objectives, and provided needed guidance and direction to the Army Staff for operationalizing the business transformation objectives directed by the 2008 NDAA.- Co-authored the development of adopting the strategic management system as the system of record to manage performance and measure progress of the campaign objectives. - Tracked development of ACP decision/info briefs and prepped OBT leadership for attendance at ACP senior leader forums (3-Star GOSC, USA/VCSA and SA/CSA Updates). Topics ranged from Regional Alignment of Forces and ARFORGEN to Network Integration Evaluation Decision Points, etc.- Conducted a comprehensive analysis of the 27 business initiatives to correlate the relationship to the ARFORGEN process, resulting in improved support to this critical process.- Awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for improving the ACP through the performance assessment process and successfully codifying business objectives in the ACP.

- Mentored, trained, and led a multi-functional team of nine strategic planners and foreign area officers, military and civilian within the G-3/5, War Plans Division. - Directed the Army’s efforts for developing and implementing strategy, plans, posture and reorganization, working to refine the Army's defense vision.- As the regional operations branch chief, the team conducted analysis of operational and contingency plans as part of the Joint Planning and Execution Community, coordinated by the Joint Staff, as well as wide ranging issues such as the Global Defense Posture, Quadrennial Defense Review, Global Force Management, Afghanistan/Pakistan Civil-Military cooperation, Army Force Packaging, regional security engagements, Army Campaign Plan, etc. - Project management included monitoring progress, coordinating, directing, and conducting staff studies to solve problems or collect data which impacted the Army's ability to meet national objectives and requirements with respect to all regional combatant commands, functional combatant commands, and Department of Homeland Security.- Awarded the Meritorious Service Medal for leadership, reshaping future force posture in Europe and Asia, meeting the needs of Combatant Commands, and ensuring the Army's interests were included in OSD and Joint Staff strategic documents.

- Served in the security assistance office as an Army Programs Officer and integral planner in the Afghan/Pak Border Security Initiative, which was a main planning effort during this deployment. This planning effort was a part of the national strategy to assist the Pakistan Army in securing their border with Afghanistan to eliminate the safe havens for the Taliban.- Expert at building relationships with stakeholders and partners to build consensus and formulate successful engagement strategies.- Leveraged the inter agency, i.e. DoS, Defense Security Cooperation Agency, Defense Intelligence Agency, and the U.S. Army Surface Deployment and Distribution Command to implement the USG strategy and ensure the Pakistan Military strategy remained focused, through appropriate letters of request for assistance, to support operations on their border with Afghanistan. - Awarded the Humanitarian Service Medal for Pakistan Earthquake Relief Operations from October 2005 to March 2006.

- Instructed ROTC cadets in general military subjects, introduced critical thinking, mentored, coached and prepared them to transition to become an officer.

- Battalion, brigade, and division G-3 Operations for multiple emergency deployment exercises and during Hurricane Andrew relief efforts; 22 months as commander of an airborne rifle company during Operation Desert Shield/Storm and JRTC deployment.
