As someone who has always been passionate about helping others, I have been inspired by my great-grandmother's lessons in bringing people together and supporting their success. I provide a wealth of experience to this position, including community engagement, strategic planning, project and team management, volunteer management, and a strong background in technology. I also have audio technical skills in production, mixing, and arranging music/sounds. As part of my journey, I completed an apprenticeship with AmeriCorps Public Allies, an organization dedicated to creating a more just and equitable society through partnerships with non-profits. Throughout my career, I have been an active contributor to the Central Florida community, including work with the University of Central Florida and Valencia College's Downtown Student Life, as well as the Heart of Florida United Way. Furthermore, I have experience working in urban planning at the Urban Planning firm Equitable Cities where I worked on projects nationwide in sectors such as public health, transportation, and environmental sustainability. One of my most notable achievements was my involvement in the Arrested Mobility Report, where I led a year-long review of state and municipal-level bicycle and pedestrian policies to assess the extent of bias and discrimination in traffic safety enforcement. I also produce music for sustainable education and garden installation organizations. When I'm not working, I enjoy playing basketball, music, and traveling.
