• Serves as AV/VC Tier 2 escalations operations for all Facebook offices in Fremont & Newark.• On-site technician for video conferencing operations and support.• Provides real-time troubleshooting for call issues and all AV/VC systems and RTC protocols (Proprietary, Bluejeans, Zoom, Messenger).• Manages a current deployment of over 800 Cisco VC endpoints across Fremont & Newark office locations.• Monitors all VC endpoints and proprietary hardware through back-end tools and alerts to maintain maximum uptime.• Provides on-hand AV technical support for live streaming events, product demonstrations, all-hands meetings, and press events.• Serves as the primary on-site support person (for Event Operations) regarding AV/VC-related issues.• Serves as the point of contact for Helpdesk/IT/Security requests related to AV/VC needs.• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Facebook proprietary VC infrastructure, applications, tools, and operations protocols.• Assists vendors installing AV/VC systems: providing guidance on signal flow, usage, and installation best practices.• Acts as an on-site point person for new builds deployment project manager, supervising and signing off on VC new builds installations.• Provisions new AV/VC hardware: including VLAN assignment, DCHP IP reservations, option key installation, and software upgrades.• Manages break/fix tasks, RMA requests, and inventory to maintain peak performance and SLA.
