• Daily check-in on all labs to troubleshoot and maintain all technology and peripheral devices to ensure enduser satisfaction.• Assist researchers with set up of labs prior to research studies.• Provide accurate, time sensitive, and effective solutions/assistance to researchers during lab use.• Asset management of test devices and field recording equipment.• Use a ticketing system to open, track, and resolve all lab & related issues.• Assist Lab Managers with construction of new Labs• Manage distribution of tool licenses• Provide on-going technical support, documentation, training and assistance to UX Researchers

• Serves as AV/VC Tier 2 escalations operations for all Facebook offices in Fremont & Newark.• On-site technician for video conferencing operations and support.• Provides real-time troubleshooting for call issues and all AV/VC systems and RTC protocols (Proprietary, Bluejeans, Zoom, Messenger).• Manages a current deployment of over 800 Cisco VC endpoints across Fremont & Newark office locations.• Monitors all VC endpoints and proprietary hardware through back-end tools and alerts to maintain maximum uptime.• Provides on-hand AV technical support for live streaming events, product demonstrations, all-hands meetings, and press events.• Serves as the primary on-site support person (for Event Operations) regarding AV/VC-related issues.• Serves as the point of contact for Helpdesk/IT/Security requests related to AV/VC needs.• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Facebook proprietary VC infrastructure, applications, tools, and operations protocols.• Assists vendors installing AV/VC systems: providing guidance on signal flow, usage, and installation best practices.• Acts as an on-site point person for new builds deployment project manager, supervising and signing off on VC new builds installations.• Provisions new AV/VC hardware: including VLAN assignment, DCHP IP reservations, option key installation, and software upgrades.• Manages break/fix tasks, RMA requests, and inventory to maintain peak performance and SLA.

• Primary onsite support technician who help maintain the integrity and functionality of all Facebook conference rooms by performing daily sweep inspections and AV basic triage/troubleshooting.• Perform daily conference room sweeps to ensure all AV and power cables are working correctly, room tools and vc panel are functioning, and audio and video are transmitted without disruption.• Perform troubleshooting/break-fix resolution or escalation for all AV equipment and related requests.
