Hacienda Don Mateo After 20 years in the desert, Mr. Naylor has established himself as a committed and integral part of the community. The self-made Palm Springs resident has a diverse and successful group of business ventures, and is Founding President of a local non-profit organization. After moving to the Coachella Valley in 1992, he created his own architectural pool design firm that he named “Architectural Blue”. It would be the turning point in his professional and personal life. The leadership and creativity of Mr. Naylor has placed Architectural Blue in an elite group pool/watershape designers and builders whose projects demonstrate the highest level of technical expertise and design ingenuity in the industry. Understanding the need to grow the company, Mr. Naylor recently expanded his portfolio to include a sculpture and metal works division as well as a renovation & maintenance division.After years of dedicating himself to his business ventures, it was time for a change. “I felt a need to do something good and be active in my community – and music is my passion” Mr. Naylor recalls. The idea of a performing arts academy had long been a dream - In October 2012, MAPA filed for their 501 (c) (3) status – and an institution was born. Not yet 50 years old, with each pursuit, he has made a difference in the lives of others. Focusing his leadership talents, entrepreneurial instincts, and passion into an ever-growing portfolio. Mr. Naylor is a permanent desert resident, residing in Palm Springs part time. Matthew is also the President of Hacienda Don Mateo - Coffee Farm in the mountains of Utuado Puerto Rico. Growing Organic Coffee the old fashioned way. The Hacienda will be a tourist destination that will impact the industry as the Place to visit on the Island. As of April 2020, Matthew was elected as the President of The American Adoption Congress. Adoption matters are a passion of his and fights for the cause to better lives in that community.
