Developed an open source baseline for iris PAD (presentation attack detection) in C++ and Python. The program relies on OpenCV for the underlying machine learning algorithms (SVM, random forest, and multilayer perceptron) and has the ability to extract BSIF features, train models, and test the models.

Explored methods to produce 3D cell images from low resolution CMOS sensors and designed a cell recognition system using holographic cell imaging and extreme learning machines. Such a system could be used for cell recognition in areas without access to expensive medical imaging equipment.

I worked with student athletes to ensure that they could succeed in general chemistry and that they were understanding the important topics.

As a swim coach, I led practices for kids ages 6-16 and helped correct stroke technique. Additionally, I served as a bridge between the coaching staff and parents during swim meets.
