Project Engineer on VA East Data Center, Richmond, VAVADC was a greenfield project on a 65-acre site. The campus included a two-story ~402,000 sf building 50,000 sf of raised floors throughout, a 27,650 sf generator building, 12,385 sf fuel yard, 9,144 sf pump house thermal storage yard,12,000 sf concrete cooling tower structure and a new 50,000 sf onsite Dominion Virginia Power substation yard. The project was designed to operate as an uptime 10MW, Tier IV center with a load density of 100 watts per sf and an additional 2MW Tier III container area designed to be convertible to white space data hall environment with an estimated 100 watts per sf load.
