Supporting and monitoring Adult Education IET student retention, progress, completion, and transitions into college/career programs, work force and employment; Connecting IET students with college and community resources to overcome barriers;    Cultivating and maintaining college and community partnerships with the IET Collaborate of faculty and staff to implement an integrated curriculum in business, culinary and health science; Provide academic support and instruction as needed. Proactively manage and guide students in the IET program to obtain a high school equivalency diploma, develop English language and professional communication skills, learn and practice employability skills and earn credentials of value and industry certifications. Ensure fiscal responsibility and integrity for the program including, but not limited to, products and assessments to fulfill IET credentials. Assist with grant writing. Recruiting, instructing, supporting, and leading Adult Education IET students through a successful transition into IET programs; Serving on an IET Advisory Board; Collaborating with faculty and staff in a fully integrated instructional approach; Participating in department, division, and applicable college-wide meetings; Traveling off-campus to participate in IET related activities such as recruitment events and other campus sites as needed for student support and collaboration opportunities;

Instructing ESL students with varying degrees of English language proficiency and literacy development;Assisting students in the ESL language laboratories, including the Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) labsCultivating and maintaining an ESL learning environment that is focused on student success;Maintaining certification according to SACS requirementsInstructing assigned classes using communicating language techniques and instructional technology;Making phone calls to absent students to ensure that all students attend regularly;Preparing lesson plans and keeping attendance records per ESL protocol Instructing in the language laboratories including computer laboratories;Completing in-service training and attending ESL adjunct faculty meetings on an as-needed basis;Maintaining an awareness of current college and department policies and guidelines;Completing other responsibilities as assigned by the department chair and/or ESL Program Developer.
