The Chartered Management Institute is the only chartered professional body in the UK dedicated to promoting the highest standards of management and leadership. The key objective of my role is to align the digital and marketing functions in order for CMI to meet the targets in its five year growth plan.Responsibilities include:• Strategy formulation and implementation • Business planning to secure investment • Delivery of website/eCommerce facility • Planning and communicating continuous 3 year roll-out of digital services• Driving traffic via technical SEO, PPC and content marketing• Reporting on behavioural insights for optimising traffic, engagement and conversion• Product and process digitisation• Mobile readiness (responsive design)• Planning, coordinating and implementing the marketing strategy and activity for across all channels and business units• Devising campaign strategies and road-maps to enable us to meet lead generation targets across all platforms• Development and implementation of the brand strategy ensuring the company image is maintained at a high standard• Managing and developing a team of content, design, marketing and systems personnel.

• Relaunching the CMI brand with new, emotive messaging and imagery to help drive acquisition and retention• Building consistent brand messaging and guidelines• Raising awareness of the CMI brand so that it comes synonymous with developing better led and managed organisations• Introducing and managing social media channels as a means to raise brand awareness and leads• Worked closely with PR and strategy to develop high quality content across all our online and offline channels and measuring the impact of these activities• Manage a team that covered creative development and social marketing• Developing and implementing the brand strategy across CMI in the UK and overseas.
