CurrentLeads and supervises a Division with two branches (Geodetics and Engineering & Construction) with strength in excess of 150 personnel, sustains a fleet of over 400 line items and over 200 vehicles: cranes, trucks, tractor trailers, earth moving equipment, and general construction kit. Oversees the test capability sustainment of a 66,000 acre Major Range Test Facility Base (MRTFB). Test capability sustainment tasks include construction of new ranges, test facilities, maintenance of over 200 miles of range roads, maintenance of 43 miles of test courses (when required), and upkeep of existing test capability and physical plant. Geodesy oversight includes geospatial information systems and assurance that live fire test programs are provided objective range fans and sighting of test articles to support developmental testing. Oversees the troop construction program to execute Military Construction, Army (MCA) and test infrastructure efforts. (Troop units include but are not exclusive to US Marine Corps Reserve [4th CEB], Navy Reserve [Seabees][NMCB23], and Army National Guard units 243rd ESP [MDARNG], DET1-150 EN CO [DEARNG], 150 EN CO [NJARNG]). Develops unique designs for site specific test infrastructure, constructs said designs using in-house and/or contracted labor. Manages program/project management schedules, administrates equipment maintenance activities, and responds to contingency operations on the test center and installation.
