Before that, Pat worked in venture capital and new venture incubation at Traverse Venture Partners. There he sourced and evaluated potential investments, managed and helped scale portfolio companies, and developed new ventures in the technology, resource, and real estate space. Prior to joining Traverse/CCM, he was an Engagement Manager at Booz & Co. (now Strategy&, post-acquisition by PwC), a global strategy consultancy. At Booz & Co., Pat advised executives on matters of top strategic importance, ranging from billion-dollar M&A to new technology commercialization to product and marketing strategy.Previously, Pat has consulted with the World Bank, helping to design a novel sustainable urban development financing mechanism, and the Clinton Foundation, leading a team to support Haitian coffee and cocoa producers move to higher value products and end-markets. He has also taught English in provincial China and performed research on DNA repair in stem cells supported by grants from the American Cancer Society.Pat holds a BA from Harvard College and MA from Boston University. His favorite pastimes include optimizing travel itineraries and being thrilled by Cleveland sports championships (even if they happen once every fifty years).
