I help manage and plan events, write grants, and do whatever else is needed.

I'm a PhD student in the Faculty of Law and Administration, but I also work as an Interdisciplinary Scholar at the Center for American Studies based in Poznań, Poland. I am also a member of the Alexis de Tocqueville Center for Legal and Political Thought at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Łódź.The title of my PhD is "The Spirit of Constitutional Law in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, 1573-1791: Continuty, Change, and Conservative Jurisprudence." It is a Montesquieuan-inspired, comparative approach to understanding the internal development of the constiutional system in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. Its theory is a mix of comparative constitutional law, legal philosophy and theory, history of political and legal thought, and Cambridge school-inspired historiography. Its method is a mix of original-law originalism, textualism, and constitutional hermeneutics.

I am one of the Research Fellows at Mercatus and work with various professors on research.The main research that I work on is the history of neoliberalism in the history of economic thought.

I served as the lab administrator for the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science at George Mason University, where I was responsible for the general maintenance of the lab. My responsibilities included:Physical supervision and maintenance of the lab: inventory and supplying lab materials, overseeing George Mason cleaning staff when they work on the lab, physical maintenance of lab computers and equipment, and upgrading overall lab layout and appearance. Lab scheduling: running the scheduling of lab maintenance, dealing with scheduling conflicts, making sure rules and procedures are properly followed, maintaining and upgrading the lab manual.Lab outreach: sending emails to the overall student body, trying to find new ways to advertise the lab and experiments at ICES including putting together ads for on campus newspapers, and working on incentives to improve lab experiment participation.Liaison between ICES faculty and ICES graduate students: maintaining communication and complaint forums between faculty and students, answering general questions of the student body concerning ICES lab experiments.

The entry-level Grant Writer and Administrator for the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science at George Mason University is responsible for working with faculty and staff to develop a wide range of grants for submission to federal and state agencies, foundations, and corporations, with an emphasis on international higher education, academic support, and scholarship. The Grant Writer and Administrator will also serve as a liaison to faculty and ICES regarding grant opportunities. The Writer will:• Serve as principle writer and researcher for specific grants.• Attend staff and faculty meetings to stay informed of the direction of the ICES as a whole.• Build a maintain a working understanding of George Mason University, the Department of Economics, and the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science’s grants and fundraising policies and procedures. • Cultivate strong relationships with faculty and staff in order to determine their specific goals and interests to facilitate grant writing and grant searching. • Assist faculty and staff with proposal preparation, organization, completion, and submission with responsibility to make certain said grant is in compliance with all specific guidelines and deadlines of grant-giving institution. • Represent the ICES and George Mason University Department of Economics when seeking out and developing partnerships and relationships with program managers and corporate partners of grant-giving organizations and institutions through networking, letters of inquiry, etc.• Provide timely stewardship and governance of grants to grant-making authorities.• Consolidate resources to provide staff and faculty with information regarding grant opportunities, deadlines, and other specific requirements.• Perform other various administrative and clerical duties for the ICES center as required.

Helped screen applications for the Hayek Fund for scholars as well as other applications for student fellowships and grants.Helped process checks and mailed materials for Humane Studies Fellowships.Worked in the aptify database to improve information on students within various programs.Worked on the mentoring program: maintained mentoring rosters, helped evaluate and connect students with potential mentors, served as a liaison between students and advisers in charge of mentoring process, processed mentoring requests.

I researched the history of the United States very generally from 1600-modern day, specializing in the Prince William County area and the town of Dumfries, Virginia. I primarily gave tour guides for the Museum and manage the property. I assist patrons with their personal historical or genealogical research based on the materials we have available, but also serve as a general assistant. I have given tours and lectures to groups as diverse as elementary school children, private schools, senior citizens groups, and local historians and politicians. As a general assistant to my supervisor I help plan, organize, and work with activities and events at the museum, including multicultural fairs, children's camps, and guest lectures. I also work in the office as a customer service representative, screening and answering phone calls for my supervisor and providing information and assistance to patrons.

I worked as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the special seminar Economics of Healthcare under Dr. Steve Scroggin at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. My main jobs were to conduct weekly homework help and review sessions as well as exam review sessions as needed. The course materials covered industrial organization economics, basic Bayesian statistics, economics of healthcare literature, some game theory, and basic maximization optimization problems. For the position I regularly held office hours and answered students questions by e-mail or phone.
