In May 2017, my wife and I started Portland Metro Community Management LLC. Our goal is to provide affordable management solutions to small and medium sized homeowner and condominium associations. We work with each board to figure out what management activities (if any) they wish to retain, and then we tailor our bid to offer compeititve and affordable pricing for the remaining management tasks.

Administrative Manager of the Claremont Civic Association in the Bethany area, north of Beaverton, Oregon and west of Portland, Oregon. Managed the Master 55+ Homeowners Association and managed amenities including swimming pool, clubhouse, nine-hole golf course, tennis courts. Worked with seven-member Board of Directors and led 11-member staff.

Administrator/General Manager of the King City Civic Association, a 55+ Homeowners Association in King City, Oregon, south of Portland, Oregon. Managed the Master Association and amenities including 9-hole golf course, two swimming pools, private library, Arts & Crafts center, shuffleboard court, lawn bowling green, exercise facility. Work with a 7-member Board of Directors and led a 13-member staff. Handled marketing for the 9-hole golf course.

The Oregon Chapter has its main presence in Portland and a Regional Council in Bend, and offers various educational, networking, social and recreational activities for its members, as well as supporting the Legislative Action Committee for Oregon.

Chosen as Board President at turnover from developer control of the Board of Directors to homeowner board.

Metro Area Community Management provided management services and consulting for Homeowner Association Boards in the Portland, Oregon metro area.

Coordinated the work of the Architectural Review Committee at Forest Heights Homeowners Association in Portland, Oregon; also coordinated the compliance efforts of the Association, handled complaints, work with managers of sub-associations. Forest Heights is a Master Homeowners Association located in Northwest Portland, on the west side of Portland's West Hills. The development is slightly over one square mile in size, and has over 200 acres of common area, including Mill Pond Park and protected areas around stream banks. With an elevation change of approximately 800 feet, Forest Heights encompasses the headwaters of several creeks that are tributaries of the Tualatin River.

Responsibility for management of 11-13 homeowners associations, including reviewing financial reports, assistance in creating budgets, functioning as the center of communication for the Boards of Directors and homeowners, ensuring homeowner compliance with the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for their community, and preparing management reports for the Boards of Directors. Also responsible for overseeing the preparation for, legal notice of and leading each association's Annual Meeting. Conducted regular inspections of common areas and home and landscape maintenance within Associations, and relationship with landscapers and other vendors.
