After completing Tisch's dance program at New York University, I used the last year of my undergrad to take on a second major in German/Linguistics while studying abroad in Germany's capital city, Berlin. It was during this transformative time that I became infatuated with the possibility of capturing candid moments and was graciously gifted my first DSLR camera by a friend.I began, through trial and error, to re-understand space and framing using what I already knew as a trained dancer. What started off as a hobby and a means to retain memory — helpful for someone with lacking recollection like me — has blossomed into a dream and a hope that I may be fortunate enough to use my artistry to influence my community positively, to promote sustainable growth, and to keep our minds reaching towards a waking life.
