I'm an educator with my M. Ed. in Parent & Family Education and my B.S. in Child Development, with minors in Psychology and Women's & Gender Studies. My passions include supporting parents and caregivers with grace and empathy to promote positive environments and meaningful connections. I am consistently deepening my understanding how complex family, community, and cultural contexts impact the parent-child relationship and interactions. In my work, I apply principles of adult learning theory to create dynamic and engaging educational opportunities for caregivers of diverse backgrounds and learning styles, using various digital programs and formats in my curriculum design. I routinely engage in reflective practice and ongoing professional development to enhance my knowledge and challenge my biases.
