I am an Aerospace Engineering graduate from Instituto Superior Tecnico currently working in the field of Robotics. I joined the Institute for Systems and Robotics (ISR-Lisboa) in my master thesis, "Cooperative Audio-Visual System for Localizing Micro Aerial Robots", from which I published a paper in IROS2019. Since then, I have participated in MBZIRC2020, alongside the Iberian Robotics Team, which placed 1st in Challenge 3 and 4th in the Grand Challenge winning the prize money of 250.000 USD. Currently, I work in the European project DURABLE aimed at solar farm inspection. During my time at ISR, I used Robot Operating System (ROS), OpenCV, and multiple ROS packages to tackle perception, manipulation, navigation, localization, and planning tasks in an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV). I had the opportunity to use various Robotic platforms such as Clearpath Jackal, iRobot ATRV-jr, and Universal Robotics UR5e as well as a wide range of sensors. I am an open-minded person who is always looking for a new journey. This way of thinking has led me to an exchange semester in India where the contact with a new culture provided me an incredible experience that contributed to influence my character as an engineer and as a person.
