Reading Economics BSc

At this summer internship I functioned as both a scriptwriter for a promotional film and as an organizer in Kollonawa, an underprivileged part of the capital in order to raise funds for charity. We also began an project called Salvage that funds a home which houses women who have been victims of domestic violence. During this period I learnt to work independently, efficiently and confidently whilst being under stressful time constraints. Overall it was an enjoyable experience.

Alpmed is a health care centre is a Naturopathic Clinic that produces and retails its homeopathic and herbal products. Here I had a more practical job which, included tasks such as collecting herbs, dispensing herbal remedies, maintaining the garden and production works.
