Recently credentialed as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, my practice is grounded in advanced nursing principles, evidence-based practice and trauma informed care. I am committed to delivering exceptional care using my strong physical assessment skills, developed over my 12-year direct patient care nursing career, and through my clinical practicum. Caring for patients from adolescence though geriatrics during my MSN clinical hours allowed me to hone my diagnostic skills and interpretation of diagnostic testing results. My ability to build rapport with patients combined with my collaborative approach to working with interdisciplinary teams, will allow me to make a positive impact on patient lives. I have a particular interest in caring for underserved populations including the LGBTQ+ community, patients on medicaid/medicare and geriatrics.
