Mid / Senior Fullstack React Developer:⦁ Continuous integration of features and performance improvements to the UKs first impartial Tyre Comparison website,⦁ Agile environment,⦁ Work on other company related projects for Administration purposesIn this role I have worked a large amount within the senior developer team to constantly improve performance of the entire web application, from the MongoDB searches, to the API calls in the frontend application itself.Notable points of interest in this role include the implementation of full Node v3 compliant streaming of search results to the frontend from a separate REST API, as well as query and database performance improvements reducing the total search time for a user from ~8500ms to under 50ms. Further to this I have worked implementing animations into the frontend application, full frontend memoization, as well as many performance improvements regarding the prevention of re-running searches when they did not necessarily need to be - for example filtering was moved to the frontend rather than in the query itself.Tech Used: NodeJS, Javascript, Flow, React, Redux, MongoDB

I've had a great deal of experience with Surface Automation, and Dynamic Surface Automation over different screen resolutions.I was able in this position to develop in-house applications for deployment onto the Virtual Workforce for automatic restarting of the Production Worker Listeners on the Blue Prism platform in the case that they were to crash, or stop responding. This automatic failover protection was a great leap in stability for the whole platform, and had notification support with both emails and Slack.I've had the opportunity to develop Proof of Concept web applications for real time tracking of users on a Proof of Concept mobile application for one of the clients. This would be used in the Logistics sector, enabling the company to track and route their drivers. These applications had full support for drivers' qualifications for different load hazards, as well as suggested routing based on cargo hazards and weight through the Bing Maps Truck Routing APIs. These Proof of Concepts ultimately ended in the Client deciding to pursue the technology which is currently under full development.This position involved an amount of DevOps, managing and setting up Linux servers for API deployment and client panel hosting for integrations with the Automation Platform the company provides.Tech Used: Blue Prism, Javascript, NodeJS (Vue, React, React Native, Sails MVC, Swagger), C++, C# (Small amount of ASP.Net), Visual Basic

In this role, I mainly managed day-to-day administration of the CNS PowerTools website and store, as well as their business partner’s Trend Direct. I undertook some development work and extension of Magento eCommerce plugins also in this role in PHP.

This position also required me to develop an application for internal use by the staff members updating the cases.Safety was always a large concern in this position, as there was a very large amount of sensitive data stored.I also worked to modify and boost the efficiency of the IRIS Law Practice Management Software at this company, reducing new file opening times from 40 minutes, to less than 5!
