He worked in the practice of Dr. Daniel Kanell, team physician for the NFL’s Miami Dolphins and Major League Baseball’s Florida Marlins. Mr. Gray’s duties encompassed serving in the clinic and operating room, as well as with the sports teams. For the Dolphins and Marlins, he served as a liaison between team trainers and physicians. While in the clinic, Mr. Gray diagnosed, treated, ordered tests for and prescribed medications for orthopaedic injuries. In the operating room, he first-assisted the orthopaedic surgeons in all aspects of orthopaedic surgery, including spine, total joint replacement, sports medicine and trauma. -
