Assessed the business situation, and developed the systems and tools necessary to build a successful product launch. Developed and put in place the operational methods, marketing, messaging, analysis, project management, software development, reporting, scalability, contract/proposal/presentations materials, and tools necessary to create a highly profitable and value added business line. While originally brought on board to provide market research and operational support for the existing business line, I was quickly able to identify why a three person team had failed to bring a new business line to market. The core concept (nursing case management) needed it's business approach entirely reworked. I proceeded to revamp the operational methods and positioning; recycling only a fragment of the previous work. Where the company had gone through three years of failure prior to my arrival, resulting in the termination of those who worked on this project, the company had our first customer on board within four months, and landed the contract that gave major market penetration and profitability in 13 months. My job duties quickly shifted to performing all Operational support duties below Executive level decisions to support the product launch and growth in a highly autonomous environment.Company relocated to Arizona to find enough talented people to meet the booming demand and changed it's name to the product line name.

Brought on board as the 13th member of this specialized consulting company (credit card processing), I disproved the superstition of unlucky 13 as the company grew to 70 people over the next two years. Initially hired for advanced skills with Excel, with the intention of becoming an account manager, the company instead recognized what I was able to do to help the company succeed, and built an Analyst department around me. The business solutions and depth of analysis allowed projects I personnally analyzed to generate 40% additional benefit, and I quickly was assigned all high value and complicated projects. While a more experienced team member was originally designated as Analyst Manager, he later decided upon a lateral transition to allow me the opportunity to use my management experience to build and train the seven analysts and two support people eventually needed.Client revenues were in the tens or hundreds of millions of dollar range, with one at $1.8 billion. Barneys of New York is likely the most recognizable, where my work generated the a $664,000 refund for contract violations as well as processing improvements generating savings of $900,000 per year every year going forward. It was a very interesting case since it required both my contracts and business law experience, as well as financial analysis, specialized analysis, and problem solving skills.
