I prepared detailed analysis and recommendations (in Spanish) on two projects while I was there.The first was finding ways to help the ailing small womens shoes manufacturers and get them financially organized. The desired outcome of this project was to assist the Mexican Government decide which small manufacturers to help and develop a long term plan to regulate and grow the industry.The second was to help a calcium mining company find financing to either lease or purchase new blast furnaces to update their operations. I developed a plan and came up with a way to get them financing and numerous differing pricing options. However, the plan didn't continue from there because the mining companies financials, when received, were so out of order, with so many errors and things unaccounted for, that none of the international institutions that could provide the funds would accept their financials.
