I believe my communication and joint effort with all departments to ensures all works are completed on time and on budget.• Workpackage manager for biannual maintenance periods. • Successfully delivered over 400 WBS items, valued at over $6M during refit period '21 one of the largest and most successful refit periods in recent RAN history.• Subcontractor manager.• RFQ and quotation review.• Workpackage planning and scheduling.• ITP and OQE review.• Supporting urgent defects (URDEFs) assisting SPO and ship staff directly. My focus had been shifted on to the M1 project 6 months prior, with involvement in, but not limited to review for manufacture, function and hardware specification, sourcing and quotation, BOM generation and maintenance, documentation, cable and duct routing, and larger scale design reviews. As a whole, the change came with a need for more significant communication with suppliers and trial partners in the form of site visits and production inspections; but most importantly in-depth cross department discussions to specify workflow requirements and feature requests. In the midst, the change has allowed me to gain experience regarding electrical component selection for low power systems, Beckhoff PLC systems, and exposure to LabView and SolidWorks Electrical. This involved designing small parts and sub-assemblies, providing support to our test staff and local clients/ trial partners, and involvement in the production of new tools. I generally performed prototyping tasks on SolidWorks, designing parts for manufacturing processes including but not limited to machining, sheet metal, off the shelf profile systems, and 3D printing.
