For the last forty years my career has been in consumer banking risk management and IT as a business director providing risk management services to this sector and, more recently, as an IT director.During this time I have had the experience of creating, running, developing and selling businesses; senior level consulting (both strategic and operational); training at all levels of seniority and the management of the development and implementation of software projects.I have worked with a banks ranging from multi-national to local; both in the UK and in twelve other countries. This has given me an insight into the different challenges faced by banks in different markets and the different approaches to these challenges. My work has involved me in all aspects of the risk cycle from marketing and new business acquisition through account maintenance, collections, loss management and reserve policy. I have also been involved in advising banks on how to launch products into ‘virgin’ markets in the most risk efficient manner. I have also developed software systems across this same risk and busniess cycleSpecialties: Business Management and DevelopmentRisk Management Consulting.Risk Management Technology.Risk Management Scorecard Development and Implementation.IT and software specification and development.
