Joseph supported the overall Learning and Development Team designing digital and face to face learning experiences for UKGBC members. By helping to identify key strategic organisational intervention points, he helped to develop tailored learning packages that guide organisations to achieve tangible changes and improvements in organisational sustainability and wellbeing.

Joseph led the Carbon Trust Behaviour Change work including strategy, carbon management, planning and organisational change. By designing solutions, using and developing electronic change tools, Joseph helped organisations to baseline, assess and meet their carbon, water and waste targets.During his time at the Carbon Trust Joseph did a post-graduate work-based degree in Social Marketing looking at how to design an engagement tool for Scottish Power to shift SMEs behaviour to be more resource efficient, through online and face to face interventions.

Joseph lead the commercial services arm of Climate Consulting. Running a team of 14 to deliver technical energy efficiency, renewable energy and sustainability assessments and implementation projects. The team delivered a range of work including BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes, SAP, EPC, DEC for new build and existing buildings, public and private sector. During this period the team supported hundreds of installations of sustainable technologies Joseph developed training and engagement tools alongside the technical work, helping organisations to embed change and reduce environmental impact
