I love to solve problems in new and creative ways. I'm currently studying at University of Brighton, where I've just started my first year studying Robotics and Mechatronics. Engineering has always had a close and personal influence on me, the creativity and independence it allows you to have is almost unrivled and working in teams to come up with even better solutions to a challenging problem is always a fantastic experience. My personal interests are gaming, robotics, Machine Learning, and programming. I love all these topics for the challenges they give me, wether strategising an extraction in an online game or finding a memory leak in C program. I find big rewards in solving all the challenges these interest pose. My favourite example that merges all these topics together would be the time I wrote a python script to land a booster in Kerbal Space Program using a simple PID control loop. This simple challenge eventually got me learning many different control systems, as well as ways to optimise a PID loop by finding the perfect PID values through gradient descent a method in which variable can be found by working out the gradient of a function and finding where that gradient is equal to zero.
