Overseeing the daily operations of Connected in Motion, I was primarily responsible for program development and facilitation, social media, sponsors relations, grant seeking, media communication, and strategic planning.

As the Assistant Lead Facilitator, I was responsible for logistics, scheduling and program development as well as general administrative and instructing tasks. Currently, I work on a contractual basis as a Lead Instructor with ALIVE.

Working with the Type 1 Think Tank to establish its foundations, support strategic directions, and build a network of individuals dedicated to ensuring collaboration between people with type 1 diabetes and health care providers.

Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of the Children with Diabetes Friends for Life elementary program. Involvement in the Friends for Life International Conferences, Friends for Life Canada conferences and the Friends for Life UK conferences.

Responsible for the development and facilitation of the Young Leaders in Diabetes programme, held bi-annually in conjunction with the World Diabetes Congress. Currently working towards the 2015 World Diabetes Congress in Vancouver.

Worked to develop a Diabetes Camp Education toolkit, comprised of submitted games and activities corresponding to the AADE7 Curriculum Guidelines.
